FD1010-T-P4S series high-speed floating displacement bearing description
Floating displacement bearing is an ideal high-speed floating bearing solution when the ultimate operating speed is to be reached but the required load capacity is not the decisive factor. Floating displacement bearings can reach the speed of high-speed angular contact ball bearings, which is twice the speed of ordinary cylindrical roller bearings. Therefore, it is especially suitable for electric spindles. The floating displacement bearing is composed of the outer ring of the ball bearing and the inner ring of the cylindrical roller bearing. Ceramic balls are standard rolling elements. This design ensures that the inner ring can float freely relative to the outer ring during operation. The inner ring is made of Cronidur 30 high-performance bearing steel, which has a higher permissible Hertz contact stress than ordinary bearing steel. The contact between Cronidur 30 and ceramic balls ensures that the inner ring and the rolling elements have sufficient load-bearing capacity. During the assembly process, the bearing clearance must be set according to the operating conditions. The industrial application technology department provides consultation under simulated actual operating conditions.
Floating displacement bearings have the same external dimensions as B70...series bearings or N10...series cylindrical roller bearings, and their sufficient load-bearing capacity and high speed capability provide designers with a new floating bearing layout design. The FD series of floating displacement bearings can be used in existing structures with lower rated load and can easily increase the allowable speed. Provide floating displacement bearings and spindle bearings with seals on both sides (2RSD) or direct lubrication for oil and gas lubrication. Similar to super-precision cylindrical roller bearings, the floating displacement bearing FD bearing series also has a type with a tapered bore inner ring (K). The FD bearing series with radial clearance matching the bearing bore is also provided, which simplifies the arrangement of the bearing on the shaft and allows a variety of bearings to be installed side by side in groups.
Quality Standard
Rockewell Bearings has added parameters that are not defined by ISO/ABEC for customers, including preload tolerances, functional tests, traceability and micron codes, cleanliness, raceway curvature, balls, etc. and roundness, surface processing (function And non-functional surfaces), steel specifications, cage trim and design, and installation chamfering. The definition of these parameters improves the quality of precision angular contact ball bearing products, thereby improving the performance of machine tool spindles.
The element of precision angular contact ball bearings is the cage, which is very important for machine tool bearings. The performance of the cage will affect the stability of machine tool bearings under high-speed rotation. The standard cage produced by Rockewell is made of phenolic resin. The internal design and the tolerance of the pocket gap are tight and the guide surface is controlled to ensure the stability of the cage during high-speed operation, lubrication and dynamic load.
The two elements of precision angular contact ball bearings are cleanliness, which is very important for precision angular contact ball bearings. Generally, the parts of the bearing products must be cleaned with a multi-solvent for 3 hours to prevent impurities from entering the bearing and prevent inherent pollution sources. In addition, the non-working surface of the bearing must be ground to ensure that the bearing is free of impurities before leaving the factory. Therefore, the bearing products produced by Rockewell can increase the normal operating time of the machine tool.
There are two main structural design methods for precision angular contact ball bearings: the high-rigidity WI series and the high-speed HX series to meet the requirements of different applications. The basic, open Rockewell bearing design has a higher spindle speed and greater dynamic radial stiffness, so the spindle can cut more material in a shorter time while ensuring excellent finished product tolerances. These improvements are attributed to the combination of the ball body and the precision engineering design of the raceway profile, which improves the processing rate.
